Whatever the reason — we’re here for it. At Floorplay, we believe every rug should feel personal, intentional, and totally you.

🧶 Step 1: Pick the Vibe (Design)

Start with one of our current floorplay designs — or let’s cook up something new together. Whether you’re matching the color of your couch, your art, or your inner chaos, we’ll help you lock in a palette, mood, and pattern that fits just right. Got a reference? A room photo? Even better.

🌿 Step 2: Choose Your Feels (Material & Texture)

This is where things get tactile. Our go-to is 100% New Zealand wool — soft, durable, and rich in color. But we also offer hints of viscose or tencel if you want a little extra sheen and softness. You’ll also get to choose between : Cut pile (classic, plush, smooth), Loop pile (more structured and textured) or a bit of both (hello, dimension). We’ll guide you on pile height too : Low pile = minimal, durable, high-traffic-friendly or High pile = soft, cozy, and statement-making and yes, we’ll share visual references so you’re not choosing blind.

📏 Step 3: Get the Size Just Right

No more rugs that are “almost perfect.” Share your room size, layout, furniture placement — or just send us a quick sketch. We’ll help you figure out the ideal proportions so the rug anchors the space without overpowering it. Custom sizing is our thing.

🔷 Step 4: Go Beyond the Rectangle

Who said rugs have to be rectangles? We offer geometric shapes, organic silhouettes, curved edges, or wild abstract forms that dance around your furniture. If you can dream it, we can probably shape it. Your space is unique — let your rug be too.

Treat them gently — no drama.
Vacuum regularly (1–2 times a week is golden). If a loop pops out, don’t yank — just snip it with scissors. No scrubbing, no brushes, no aggressive cleaning sprees. When in doubt, call in the pros. Your rug deserves a spa day too.

Yep. Wool’s smarter than it looks.
Wool isn’t just cozy — it’s clever. It breathes, adapts, and actually helps regulate temperature. So while it keeps things warm in winter, it also keeps things breezy in the summer. Basically, it’s got seasonal range. Like your favorite sweater, but for the floor.

Yes, initially.
Some shedding is normal, especially with wool rugs. Regular vacuuming will help reduce this over time. It's just your rug settling into its new home.

Yes, with care.
Our rugs are designed to be durable, but high-traffic areas can be tough. Regular rotation and using a rug pad can help maintain its look and feel.

Blot, don't rub.
If you spill something, blot it immediately with a clean, undyed cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it can push the stain deeper. For stubborn stains, consult a professional cleaner.
