At Floorplay, each piece is crafted to order with love, color, and care. Because of this, all sales are final. But if your rug shows a true manufacturing defect that can't be fixed — we’ve got you covered.
🔧 Reporting a Defect? Here's How:
If your rug arrives with a genuine manufacturing flaw (and not just a quirk of its handmade charm), please do the following within 48 hours of delivery:

🚫 What’s Not a Defect (Just Rug Life):
➤ Shedding:
Totally normal, especially with hand-tufted rugs. Loose fibers will settle with regular, gentle vacuuming.
➤ Fiber Sprouting:
An occasional tuft might peek out. Don’t pull it — just trim it neatly with scissors.
➤ Creases & Roll Marks:
Rugs may arrive a little crinkled from the journey. Lay it flat and roll it in the opposite direction if needed — it’ll settle in a few days.
➤ Smell:
New rugs may carry a mild scent due to packaging. It’ll air out naturally in a day or two.
➤ Color Variation:
We try to show our rugs as accurately as possible, but screen differences and lighting may cause minor color shifts. This isn’t considered a defect.

🔁 What Happens If It Is a Defect?
If we confirm your rug qualifies under warranty, here’s what we’ll do:

Shipping Refund: You’ll get a refund for return shipping within 10 business days (via your original payment method).

Replacement: We'll send a fresh piece of the same design — because your floor deserves nothing less.

Keep all tags and packaging intact for the return to be accepted.

Report issues within 48 hours — delays may lead to the request being declined.

If the return doesn’t meet these conditions, the item will be sent back at your cost, and no refund will be issued.
